Like the unexpected pregnancy
That gave you a little brother
Who you've loved
More than any other.
Having someone
Who looks up to you,
Watches how you act
And acts like you do
Or that unexpected illness
That plagues someone dear
But how do I help him
When I know the end is near
Watching him slip away slowly
I'm told there's nothing they can do
I wish there was something
I wish I only knew
The two poles of life
Life's beginning and end
A birth and death
Life's amazing blend.
